God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Isaiah 40:27-31 (NIV)
27Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel,“My way is hidden from the Lord;my cause is disregarded by my God”?

28Do you not know?Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

29He gives strength to the wear and increases the power of the weak.

30Even youths grow tired and weary,and young men stumble and fall;

31but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ~ Isaiah 40:27-31 (NIV)

Be blessed,

So what?

Blogging…

Who is the blog for anyway?

Why are YOU reading this?

Why am I posting this?

I honestly don’t know. There are people who have blogs and seem to love telling everyone in cyberspace that they woke up, got dressed, got stuck in traffic, had a bad day at work/school, came back, got cleaned up, and went to bed with the light on since the were to tired from this and that and that and th… …There are people who have blogs and write poetry, causing the reader’s mind to think “Why does the poet have to rhyme the words and why can’t they just say their two cents in common English… …There are those who use blogging to keep in touch with friends overseas, to keep them updated in the daily happenings of lie… …There are people who blog to rant about their favourite hobbies in life… …There are people who blog to share with others the goodness of those around them and especially The One above all.

Which category do I hope to fit?

Tell you what, why not blog to keep an account on life. It would be nice to one day open up a book and read all about yourself and how things have changed. About how the good times have gone. About how the bad times have gone. About how my Saviour led me all the way through the journey of life. It would be nice to spontaneously open up a book and be able to know that “all things come to pass.”

So blogging is for ME, in that sense. To have concrete memories.

I say to myself then…

Well, Mark, why don’t you keep your thoughts and memories to yourself and let us get on with life. Nobody wants to know that you ate bread today and potato yesterday. Nobody cares…

I then respond to myself…

But I want someone to care. Isn’t that what friendship is, being able to enjoy the trivial things in life, knowing that time spent together with a friend is precious. I want someone to take an interest in me. Nobody likes to be the only not standing in a group come coffee break. Nobody wants to be the ONE who doesn’t exist, the ONE whom people stare through, or worse, the ONE whom people see and then PRETEND not to see. I don’t want to be NOBODY.

So I owe you a “THANK YOU” for taking an interest in my life. This blogging thing is certainly new to me. I certainly look forward to counting my blessings even through this medium but I desire that I may also be a blessing to YOU, who have taken time to get this far. I welcome your constructive criticism as well as your gesture of FRIENDSHIP in leaving feedback.

Yours sincerely,

Mark_the_Boy

PS The blog page looks bland. Feel free to give suggestions to liven up this cemetery.
